As some of you know, among the many things that inspire my jewelry is interior design. It is such a BEAUTIFUL art form. To me, decorating a home is a distillation of our interests, of who we really are, and I strongly believe that –as designer Rafael de Cardenas once said– “Our homes are a mirror of ourselves: If one is happy in life, our space reflects that”.
You know by now that color resonates with me strongly. It moves my feelings up the emotional scale to an even more positive place, every time! Sometimes it brings peace, laughter, and even giddiness, and many times, such as when I saw this lovely living space, it inspires me beyond emotions, and makes me grab some clay and manifest those feelings in physical form through a piece of jewelry.

This BEAUTIFUL 100% handmade and one-of-a-kind necklace started with an idea in my head… Granted: When I started drawing the idea, it didn’t look as good as it turned out….but isn’t it fun!
